Biography
Prof Xueji Zhang obtained his Ph.D from Wuhan University in 1994 and postdoctoral studies from National Institute of Chemistry, Slovenia, ETH, Switzerland and New Mexico State University respectively. He is the director and national chair professor of research center for bioengineering and sensing technology(BEST center). He has published more than 350 papers in reputed journals, 65 patents and 7 books. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Frontiers in Bioscience, American Journal of Biomedical Sciences and editorial board member of 19 international Journals. He has developed numerous biomedical sensors, instruments and devices for commercialization. He has received many awards and honors including Fellow of American Institute for Medical & Bioengineering, Fellow of RCS, Member of Russian Academy of Engineering and W. Simon Fellow of ICSC-World lab, United Nations.
